Job Description

Your new role:

  • Management reporting, Manage and own the development and production of regional reports review content and ensure accuracy
  • Support Finance Manager to finalise regional sales, consolidating adjustments, creating and posting journals
  • Review and manage regional balance sheets (including prepayments and accruals)
  • Production of key financial and commercial analysis to the Senior Business management team, including board packs, budgeting and budget/target setting
  • Ad hoc work as requested by Commercial Finance Managers and senior management
  • Reviewing and improving processes
  • As part of a team of Financial Analysts, the role will specialise in one or more of the following areas and will also provide cover to other Financial Analysts’ areas of specialisation:
  • Reconciliation and consolidation of regional sales and profit at period end
  • Co-ordinating the review, accrual and prepayment of centralised costs at period end, including, but not limited to:
    • Payroll
    • Commissions
    • Advertising costs
  • Provide accurate and timely financial information, reports and analysis to support Senior Business Management
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with all Finance staff, both in UK and India
  • Be a self-starter and demonstrate willingness to take the lead in identifying and initiating opportunities to improved processes eg. automate/streamline processes
  • Ensure all Management Accounting activities are aligned to the Finance Vision statements i.e. operate a world class finance function, first class customer service
  • Ensure Management Accounting activities are aligned to Shared Service Centre operational policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate Finance policy and ensure controls are maintained

What you'll need to succeed

  • Newly Qualified ACA/ICAS Qualified
  • Educated up to degree level or CTS.
  • Experience / exposure of management accounting or financial analysis
  • Advanced excel, at least pivot tables and v-look up
  • Strong communication skills and an eye for detail
  • Inquisitive, with drive and ambition to get promoted
