Job Description

Robertson Bell Finance are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst as our client is a prestigious, commercially focused organisation and with an asset base of circa £6 billion based in central London. This is an excellent opportunity to add great value and help shape the future direction of this organisation.

Working closely with the Head of Financial Projects to ensure a variety of stakeholders are provided with the correct information for them to make informed decisions within the business and specifically within Projects.

Specific responsibilities include;

*Leading monthly preparation related financial modelling and forecast for all projects and programmes
*Proactively investigate methods for transforming budgets and analyse to ensure projects are running smoothly
*Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to develop a strategy to effectively work through the department cost base in order to deliver a recognisable increase in business performance
*Developing relationships and establishing credibility with key stakeholders
*Defining relevant KPI metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
*Leading on the reconciliation of variances between expenditure and to date costings enabling senior stakeholders to make relevant changes and decisions

The successful candidate will be either part/fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACCA) who is able to demonstrate a history of building relationships to influence and challenge decision makers. You will need to possess strong experience of business partnering with a focus on cost transformation and risk & opportunity management. You must have excellent communication skills with the ability analyse large volumes of data and present this to a range of budget holders.
