A great not for profit organisation based in North Yorkshire with great benefits, attractive offices and great work life balance is seeking an experience Financial Accountant to lead the production of US GAAP accounts.
You will be responsible for producing US GAAP published accounts and will involve a review of the detailed UK GAAP accounting records, preparing the necessary adjustments to convert the accounts to US GAAP and publishing the US GAAP Accounts. In addition you will provide high quality technical accounting assistance and advice to finance staff and this contract may lead onto other project work including capital projects and other technical accounting work around IFRS.
Candidates will be accountancy qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or CIMA) and must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
You will also have a recent working knowledge of US GAAP and its differences to UK GAAP as well as technical knowledge of UK accounting standards including FRS102.
The successful Financial Accountant will be paid on a fixed term salary basis of c.£50,000 - £51,000 per annum with a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, benefits and good work life balance.
