Job Description

Our client, an unrivalled market leader and truly dynamic FTSE 100, is looking to source a talented, technically strong Finance Manager to play a pivotal part in delivering top calibre reporting in this fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have ample opportunity to progress and rotate across the wider finance team, in line with their own professional goals, so ideal for an ACA looking to specialise in a more commercial capacity in future.

Main duties include:
* Preparing annual report and the interim report, ensuring compliance with group policy and standards
* Project managing production of "front half" of the annual report, engaging heavily with stakeholders across all levels and departments
* Preparing designated sections of the monthly PLC board and exec management reports
* Preparing annual accounts for subsidiaries
* Overseeing the preparation of stat returns
* Supporting month end and year end closing
* Acting as first point of contact for auditor queries
* Identifying and delivering process improvement opportunities
* Ad hoc projects as required

Skills & experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Awareness of and interest in understanding and implementation of IFRS
* Significant experience and involvement in the annual report preparation process including the financial statement
* Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels up to PLC Board
* Ability to work at pace in a flexible and evolving environment
* Confident and credible character, with clear gravitas
