ROLI is looking for a Finance Manager to help develop and manage the processes and systems that will underpin our dynamic growth and development.

As our Finance Manager, you will ensure the smooth running of existing finance functions including the month end close, statutory audits and tax returns. At the same time, you will help drive the process improvements which will support the business as it grows.

We are looking for a passionate individual with an eye for detail and the ability to quickly assess and improve existing processes. You will also ideally have experience within the hardware, software and/or technology sectors.

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a disruptive category of music making devices we are creating called ‘Connected Music’ - a network of hardware and software, platform and developer products that will revolutionise how music is made.

What you’ll do:  

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting and the month end process
  • Support the acceleration of the monthly close
  • Ensure that existing controls are implemented and new ones are developed
  • Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of entries into the ERP system
  • Reconcile key accounts and oversee the preparation of other reconciliations
  • Take responsibility for cash forecasting and treasury management
  • Run payroll in the UK and the US
  • Ensure accurate VAT accounting and prepare VAT returns
  • Support the annual audit and statutory accounting process

What you’ll need:  

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience in UK GAAP / IFRS
  • Experience producing (and/or auditing) statutory accounts for a company
  • A track record of meeting challenging deadlines
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Bonus Points:

  • Experience or exposure to working with manufacturing companies
  • Exposure to startup or high-growth companies
  • Experience using NetSuite, or a similar ERP system
  • Exposure and/or knowledge of US Accounting and Tax
