Your new role
Reporting into an impressive Group Financial Controller, this role will manage a team of 4, 1 qualified accountant and 3 part-qualified studiers who have good energy, knowledge and drive. This role oversees the responsibility for the annual, quarterly and annual financial reports as well as reviewing work by the hotel business partners and preparing performance commentary for the Exec team.
What you'll need to succeed
The preferred experience is for a candidate to come into this role from an accountancy practice background, followed by some industry exposure and awareness. They are open to candidates coming from other sectors, but experience in a large and complex business with statutory and group reporting experience is desired. Team management experience will stand you in good stead to be able to lead and manage the development and success of the high-calibre team in this role. You'll enjoy working as part of a people-focused, dynamic and tangible environment and enjoy working in an role with many moving parts.
