I am currently working with a leading insurance business with a truly global presence operating in over 500 offices worldwide. They are recruiting for a finance manager role to join the London City office working in the reporting and accounts production function.
Your new role
The role is a key role which has a broad array of duties and responsibilities including:
- Reporting to Group - US GAAP
- Staff leadership of 3
- Variance analysis and commentary
- Reserving analysis and continuous improvement - focus on ceded reinsurance
- Process improvements and project exposure
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with a strong understanding of technical insurance accounting ideally with reinsurance experience. You will need to have strong reporting skills and the ability to manage and lead staff. You will need to be a proactive communicator, capable of building strong working relationships and manage these across multiple senior stakeholders.
