Finance Manager job for a SME professional services business in Liverpool. £45000 to £50000
Your new company
A rapidly growing professional services business (£50m+) based in Liverpool. This company has doubled in size in the last 5 years and has an excellent reputation nationally as a leader in its field.
Your new role
As Finance Manager it will be your role to lead the team of 7 finance staff, ensuring a high quality and timely finance service is provided to the company. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will provide leadership on the external reporting for the company and the month end processes.
Using your technical accounting skills you will advise on financial policies and procedures and will lead on projects to improve efficiencies and financial controls.
Balance sheet control and working capital management will also be a key part of your responsibilities.
As a leader of staff you will motivate and develop your team to perform to a high standard. You'll be responsible for setting their career plans and encouraging their learning.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience. You should have knowledge of preparing statutory accounts and ideally have some knowledge of external audits.
As this is a management role you must have experience of leading a team.
