Finance Manager, Systems Lead in public sector, up to £45,000 with fantastic benefits

Your new company
This public-sector organisation provides services across East Lancashire and have been commended for their work in the local community. They support many residents and organisations, providing a wide range of services to the local community. After a period of transformation internally, this position of Finance Manager is now available to join their experienced and diverse team.

Your new role
This Finance Manager job will report into the head of finance, specifically in the place based services such as operational and environment. You will be responsible for the management and leadership of the systems and projects team, implementing and developing systems and processes to use for effective performance management. You will provide support to non financial teams to ensure effective use of all system related changes, and continually develop and disseminate best practice and service improvement in order to deliver an efficient and effective high quality, value for money, finance service that is fit for purpose.

What you'll need to succeed
Given the complexity of the department and role, it is essential you have local government experience, specifically with systems based experience. You must also be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) You will be a keen business partner and people manager with the ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders.

What you'll get in return
You will be paid an annual salary of up to £45,000 with a competitive holiday package which rises to 33 days a year with the option to buy an additional 20.
