Job Description

Opportunity to join a supportive financial reporting team as Finance Integration Accountant, focused on the integration of new businesses to the group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technical accountant to develop their experience in a fast-paced and growing business.

Description

As Finance Integration Accountant, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the finance integration model for the business's regular acquisitions
  • Align financial controls and financial reporting with standard procedures
  • Working closely with M&A, Treasury and Finance teams to ensure smooth integration
  • Coordinate pre and post-acquisition financial activity
  • Deliver the required controls to onboard acquisitions in to the business environment
  • Coordinate all finance integration projects
  • Ad hoc project accounting to support finance team
  • Preparation of monthly project and acquisition exceptionals for review
  • Support budget and forecasting
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the Group

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Ability to influence and build good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience of financial reporting
  • Experience of integration or working with incomplete accounts (desirable)
  • Experience of implementing new processes/financial controls (desirable)
  • Hands-on experience of project management
  • Proactive approach
  • Problem-solver
  • Understanding of insurance/financial services sector (desirable)
