An SME film and TV production company centred around accelerating the production industry via targeted and strategic investments. They look to develop companies so that they can reach their full potential from a commercial development standpoint.
Your new role You will take the newly created position of Finance Controller, reporting into the Group FD with control over the finance function. The role will involve the running of the day-to-day royalty accounts as well as making sure the licensing is accounted for correctly. Aside from this, you will run finance for the company in both a reporting and forecasting context.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with several years of experience in Film/TV
- Experience with royalty and licensing accounting is essential
- Self-starter who is comfortable working in ambiguity with an ability to prioritise
- An interest in engaging within a high-growth SME space
- Highly organised and comfortable working to tight deadlines
