Financial control is really important to the business. Description

Financial control is really important to the business. The successful candidate will be required to be the financial control expert within the UK team, heading up the review of existing accounting processes and control environment. This will include documenting processes and advising on improvements to further strengthen the control environment. for the business.

Implementing a new accounting system, the successful candidate will take a leading role in the design and implementation for the UK insurance business.

Working closely with the data team within the business you will be required to develop existing and new data to be used in financial reporting and business performance reporting.

Acting as a finance expert for large scale system changes, working wit IT and other business areas to support and assess the financial risks and controls, ensuring new systems are tested and robustly implemented.

The successful candidate will ensure sound financial controls and processes are in place when assisting with leading the business when looking to launch new products and initiatives.

Profile

Qualified accountant with a few years post-qualification experience

Good knowledge of financial controls and exposure to data quality assurance processes

Strong academic background with strong numeracy and analytic skills

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated and proactive individual
