Seeking a French speaker to work with teams in West Central Africa to support on all aspects of finance - £42k
Your new company:
I am recruiting on behalf of a very well respected International non profit organisation with a focus on health. The organisation works with governments and partners to strengthen health service delivery in Africa and Asia. The organisation has an income of over £50m and their offices are based in East London.
Your new role:
The Finance Business Partner will be a key role in supporting the West and Central Africa countries to prepare budgets, donor reports and maintain clean accounting records providing financial support and information to budgets holders. The UK finance team, including the UK Finance Manager, consists of six people. The Finance Business Partner is expected to be an integral part of the global finance team and work closely with management and technical teams in countries in providing the required financial management and budgeting support.
Management accounting (30%)
Support and review all rolling forecasts submitted by the West & Central Africa country offices
Ensure monthly management accounts are produced and reviewed and that variances are acted on
Financial accounting and regulatory matters (30%)
Providing advice, training and support to the finance team in country offices
Review all donor reports,to ensure accurate and provide to the Finance Director for sign off and ensure that they are submitted on time
Technical finance support to Country Finance Managers (20%)
Business development budget support (20%) - Support the HQ-based Business Development team and/or in country teams by compiling and reviewing budgets for new projects
What you'll need to succeed:
Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant
Previous experience of at least 3 years working in a financial management role
Experience of working abroad or in a multi-country reporting environment
Working knowledge of French to be able to explain finance matters to staff
