Finance Business Partner/Senior Manager Vacancy - Sheffield Up to £55,000 + market leading package

Your new company
Your new company is a government backed financial services organisation, with a key aim to drive business growth.
Our client works with a variety of financial partner companies to deliver an array of finance functions to SME organisation clients.

Your new role
This is one of two exciting, newly created opportunities to join the organisation within a newly created team, supporting the management of the debt and equity portfolio.

This role is predominantly suited to individuals with a strong business partnering background, and as Senior Managers within the team, you will have responsibility for managing financial transactions, alongside operations, valuations and reporting of a significant investment portfolio whilst assisting with the facilitation of new investments.

There will be a significant level of stakeholder relationship management, both internal and external, and will give significant exposure to working with other senior management teams within the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
Ultimately, you will require previous experience in a commercial, business partnering role.

Elements of the role will involve:

  • Financial modelling
  • Fund accounting
  • Operational aspects of fund management
  • Risk reporting
  • Performance reporting

Previous experience of management of junior team members is also a strong attribute for this role.

Qualifications in an Analytical discipline across Economics, Accountancy or Legal specialisms are considered, alongside those from a Sciences or Engineering background.
