A high growth fintech business with a consumer facing app is looking for a Finance Business Partner to work with the Marketing and Technology teams. The Marketing and Technology departments are absolutely essential components in the growth of this business and form an intrinsic part of the commercial decision making process. Therefore this Finance Business Partner role will be a highly commercial and influential position within the organisation.
The Finance Business Partner will report to the Head of Commercial Finance and will have exposure to the CFO, CEO and other senior management executives. This role will 'own' the relationship with the Marketing Director and Chief Technology Officer and serve as the key finance point of contact for all Marketing and Technology investment decisions.
This is a 'true' business partnering role and will be very much focused on driving profitable return on investment. Key aspects will involve conducting research into market sizing, assessing viability of marketing campaigns and working with the technology teams to consider internal and externally facing (i.e. the app) tech investments.
The ideal profile will be a qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA or equivalent) with post qualified experience in a business partnering role. Specific business partnering experience with Marketing and/or Technology would be a real benefit.
