Job Description

With huge growth plans over the next few years, the successful identification, assessment and acquisition of businesses that will complement this organization and support these growth ambitions will be critical. This role will be responsible for all financial considerations related to this process including preparing and presenting analysis, working with others from inside and outside of this organization and supporting the presentation and decision making

Client Details

My client are a leading supplier of software to the automotive industry. Serving thousands of dealerships and almost all manufacturers worldwide they operate across 90 countries in the EMEA & Asia.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing vendor information memorandum and cross referencing with other sources both publically available and provided as part of the due diligence process
  • Preparing detailed analysis of historic and forecast data working, where appropriate, with internal and external experts
  • Identify and report adjustments needed to the financial performance of the target to reflect the underlying business trends (Quality of Earnings)
  • Working with disclosed members of the business to identify and report potential synergies
  • Working with disclosed members of the business to build a forecast, calling out key dependencies and sensitivities
  • Work with treasury to plan the financing for the acquisition
  • Support the Controlling team to prepare for on boarding the acquisition

  • Creation of accurate analysis, clearly presented with conclusions and recommendations
  • Comprehensive assessment of risk and opportunity
  • Strong cooperating with internal and external subject matter experts and stakeholders

Profile

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Must Haves:

  • Accounting, Finance or Economics at Degree level
  • Experience working in a similar role, either internal or with a professional services provider
  • Exceptionally strong financial modelling skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to extract insight from others and convey pertinent information to key stakeholders and management

Desirable:

  • Experience presenting to senior management
