As the Group Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for partnering with group functions, quickly building relationships and providing insight to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Description

Objectives:

* Support group functions with all aspects of finance including budgeting, forecasting and reporting

* Deliver a high standard of finance services and insight to the group

* Support the group with financial insight on commercial activities

* Provide group project appraisals

* Review commercial arrangements with suppliers in conjunction with procurement

Responsibilities and Accountability:

* Key stakeholders for the role are the Financial Controller, IT Director, Heads of IT from across the Group, IT suppliers and the divisional finance teams

* Developing strong relationships with multiple financial and non-financial stakeholders

* Communicating financial information and insight effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders (including reporting)

* Managing your own time effectively to deliver work to the required standard and to deadlines when working under time pressure

Profile

• A recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Good knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT and corporation tax
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Excel)
• Exceptional spoken and written communication skills
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
