Job Description

Working closely with the Clients’ Financial Accounting team and senior management team including our CFO, you will be responsible for our reporting activity across project performance, backlog and utilisation.  As a Finance Analyst you will take the lead for the development and maintenance of high quality financial management reports and tools with a focus on continuous improvement, data quality/accuracy in order to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for delivering timely & high-quality financial analysis to the business using Power BI & MS Excel.
  • Act as technical expert in key areas of Power BI, MS Excel, Power Query and OAC. Adopt new technologies quickly and identify tools that can improve productivity.
  • Acts as the first line support for Finance Business Partners, responsible for understanding their challenges & implementing timely solutions.
  • Work closely with the finance team to improve productivity; supporting month end activities and analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with other regional finance teams to support the wider business and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with and develop technical skills of offshore Management Reporting team. Includes training team to reproduce newly developed reports.
  • Resolve issues/bugs and respond to ad-hoc reporting queries from the business.
  • Other ad-hoc business reporting requirements.
  • Some ad-hoc travel across UK locations will be required.



  • Proven track record of working with “big data”, delivering focused, insightful reporting.
  • Experience of using Power BI, Power Query, Excel & ERP to a high level of proficiency.
  • Relevant reporting experience at a medium/large organisation is desirable.
  • Understanding of basic accounting and reporting concepts.
  • “Can do” attitude – able to take an idea from the drawing board through to completion.
  • Attention to detail and consistent high standards.
