Job Description

Finance & Commercial Manager, East Leeds


Our client is a leader within the Healthcare sector and they have an exciting new opportunity within their finance team for a qualified and experienced individual to join them as Finance & Commercial Manager.

As part of the Senior Management Team you will be responsible for the development of the organisations strategy and managing the financial running of the organisation to ensure that it achieves all financial goals

  • Providing the leadership in translating and implementing the hospital strategy into operational practice and delivering on business objectives and annual operating plans for P&L and working capital
  • Supporting business development by maximising resource allocation enabling the hospital to expand its reach into existing and new markets.
  • Being responsible for the line management of Business Administration Team and ensuring the team meets all the operational targets

Ideal candidate would have:

  • Completed an accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) - essential
  • Experience in people management
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to understand key business processes and complex business issues
  • Displays high standards of personal integrity and initiative
  • The ability to display high attention to detail
  • Identifies opportunities for personal development
  • PC literate, able to adopt and contribute, where required, to the introduction and development of new systems. Intermediate Excel skills are essential and experience of SAP is desirable
  • Experience in healthcare or other customer orientated business is desirable but not essential
