Finance Analyst job West Kent upto £45k. Must be from a Housing Association background & analytical skillset
Your new company
You will be working for an established Housing Association within the West Kent area. The Finance Analyst position is a permanent, full time position. The finance team are looking for you to support the improvement of their technical skills, support major projects, make processes more effective and improve interaction with internal and external customers. You will work 37 hours a week initially working remotely until September where the organisation look to implement more flexible working patterns.
Your new role
You will be responsible for financially appraise over the long term and stress test the base to ensure the successful delivery of the financial forecast return. You will appraise the impact of a number of key activities including costs management programmes, building new homes and asset management in order to deliver a comprehensive statement of the companies financial status. You will prepare reports based on your analysis, to support the board's strategic decision making and inform key stakeholders including the regulator. You will critically appraise existing systems and make recommendations where appropriate to ensure continuous improvement and achieve efficiencies. You will prepare treasury analysis to assist in securing funding, in line with our business model. You will foster and build productive relationships with funders and other key stakeholders. You will build collaborative relationships with colleagues to ensure positive outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need recent experience working within a Housing Association experience is quite important. You will have the ability to compile data, analyse and report from BRIXX. You will have experience of dealing with the regulatory compliance regime, advanced Excel skills, analytical, critical and evaluative skills
