A high growth insurance MGA is looking to recruit a senior finance professional to take a CFO role for a number of entities and provide commercial and regulatory support and guidance. This is a newly created role reporting into the Group CFO and presents the opportunity to join an exciting, fast paced and growing business.
Your new role
This is a broad and varied role with a number of key duties and responsibilities including:
- Business Partner and commercial support to legal entities and owned MGAs
- Regulatory Reporting and compliance - FCA, CBI, Client Money
- Board reporting on legal entity performance
- Statutory reporting and annual audit process
- Oversight of outsourced IBA function
- Ownership of legal entity financial planning and forecasting processes
- Month-end close process
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with a proven background in insurance accounting within a broking or MGA capacity. You will need a strong blend of technical accounting and regulatory reporting skills combined with a strong FP&A skill set. You will need to be hands on in your approach and happy to get stuck into the detail but also have the ability to see the bigger picture and make decisions accordingly.
