Leading accountancy practice seeking corporate tax assistant manager for their Manchester office | £30-£38k

Your new company
This accountancy practice has 19 directors and 3 offices in the North west, based in Manchester, Bolton and Lancaster. After a recent merger, this firm now has a presence UK wide offering services in Accountancy, payroll, Audit, Tax and business advisory. This firm operates a transparent culture with clear progression plans and acknowledges that their people are their greatest asset.

Your new role
As a corporate tax assistant manager you will be responsible for your own varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, offering both compliance and advisory services. You will assist your clients in developing tax efficient strategies to aid in reaching their business and personal wealth aspirations. You will look at how your clients can enhance the wealth, profits and cash flow of the business and secondly, at the stakeholder level, focus on key issues, such as equity value and income & profit extraction. You will liaise with the Corporate Finance teams, advising on investments and transactions, such as acquisitions, disposals and re-organisations.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this position, you will have experience in managing a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, and have experience in offering advice in some of the key areas listed above. You will be a highly motivated and ambitious self-starter with a keen desire to progress your career in tax. You will either be studying towards, or newly qualified in CTA and posses excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of between £30,000-£38,000 (DOE) and 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays. You will also be eligible to receive annual and quarterly performance related bonuses and a very clear progression plan.
