We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Tax Advisory Director to join Kreston Reeves.

As Corporate Tax Advisory Director, you will be working with all partners, but reporting directly to our head of corporate tax. You must have an exceptional knowledge of UK corporation tax and also need to have a sound grasp of other business and personal taxes to not only ensure clients are fully tax compliant but to also identify tax planning opportunities. Exposure to international tax issues such as double taxation relief, double taxation treaties, transfer pricing, thin capitalisation and CFC’s is desirable, but support and mentoring will be given as needed.
Our corporate clients include a broad range of sectors and industries and include entrepreneurial growth companies, larger corporates, multi-national groups, FSA regulated companies and AIM listed PLCs.
Alphatax, CCH Central, Caseware, Digita and Microsoft Office software packages used. Knowledge and use of these packages would be beneficial, but not essential.
The role is largely office based and includes significant client contact. There will also be some travel between our offices based in London, West Sussex and Kent.
The objectives of the role
To help manage the corporate tax compliance and advisory team across our offices, whilst assisting with growing the business and winning new work in the marketplace.
Along with those responsibilities mentioned above you will:
Help UK and international clients structure their affairs tax efficiently
Help manage the client relationship to become a trusted business advisor
Take the lead role in a variety of ad hoc advisory projects for SMEs and larger corporates
Help manage and expand our CT compliance service
Reviewing more complex tax returns and computations
Chartered Tax Advisor or qualified accountant with extensive tax advisory experience
Experience working as a Senior Manager or Director in profession – ideally mid-tier or large regional independent practices
Broad experience advising SME corporate clients and their owners, and larger corporates
Exceptional client management skills and ability to win business and cross sell
Ability to communication complex tax principles to tax and non-tax audiences
Strong team player and passion for nurturing junior tax professionals
