Job Description

Supporting the Head of Risk on a number of projects relating to Business Continuity, Self-Assessments and Risk Frameworks (Governance & Policy) in a contract role operating outside of IR35

Client Details

Our client is an exciting organisation who operate under the non-profit umbrella in the life sciences space. They are a fast-paced forward thinking business who monetised a royalty resulting in a large scale cash injection.

They are based in London and expecting the successful applicant to be working in-office 2 days per week to support the Head of Risk.

The organisation implemented a Risk Management strategy in 2019 but as a result of the cash injection and the recent pandemic are in a position to hire a contractor to support with the volume of work in relation to Business Continuity, Risk Frameworks (Governance & Policy), Self-Assessments and Crisis Management.

Description

Support the Head of Risk by completing & implementing the frameworks for:

o Policy governance

o Self-assessment

o Legal, regulatory and contractual compliance

o Business continuity

Work with the organisation by reviewing, challenging and adapting the business continuity plans

Working with legal, Policy & Governance to develop a crisis management plan, particularly relating to cyber-attacks

Profile

Experience spanning Business Continuity, Risk Management Frameworks, Crisis Management & Self Assessments.

Appreciation of the nuances applicable to this organisation being a non-profit in the research space with a recent cash injection.

Able to work autonomously to complete and deliver projects

Demonstrable experience of implementing frameworks

Able to collaboratively liaise with stakeholders as well as outsourced internal auditors and the Head of Risk

Qualified ACA/CIA/ACCA/CIMA/IRM or other relevant qualification, QBE or Part-Qualified candidates will also be considered
