Your new role
Maternity cover for a key Commercial Finance Manager role, reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance and managing 3 Finance Business Partners. Responsibilities will include driving performance in the areas you support by leading the team who use data to create relevant, accurate and insightful analysis. You will have a great understanding of the business area you support, allowing you to predict performance, identify opportunities and highlight risk, which will in turn allow them to deliver on strategy. You'll excel at translating strategy into operational deliverables and will lead on the annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasting processes. This will ensure there are robust plans for revenue, progress against these plans is tracked effectively and budget holders are held to account. As a trusted business partner, you will be embedded in the decision-making process and will objectively challenge and influence stakeholders to help drive decisions that are both commercially compelling and financially secure. With a passion for people leadership you will be skilled in prioritising how your team delivers most value for the business. You will understand the team reporting to you, and ensure they have the right focus and direction, allowing them the autonomy to do the best for the areas they support. You will also be able to deputise for the Head of Commercial Finance when required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant with experience analysing large volumes of data in a commercial finance environment. Previous experience in Business Partnering, and the ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders. Proven track record in managing and developing high performing teams, with a passion for developing people. Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance audiences. Highly organised. · Advanced Excel skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to work autonomously, managing multiple projects and deadlines and prioritising effectively. You will be available to start in the next 4 weeks and be happy to commit to a 15 month FTC.
