Description

The principal purpose of the role is to provide review and challenge to operations whilst maintaining integrity of the financial metrics you are adhering to. The role will be accountable for understanding and providing insight on the impact of operational decisions. As a result, it is vital that you will work closely with the commercial teams you will be supporting daily.

As Commercial Finance Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of customer interaction, but not limited to - tenders, highlighting the financial impacts of various pricing strategies, contract review, product offering and customer strategy.

You will need to ensure a sound financial management basis; including leading the long term strategic plan, monthly revenue forecasting and the periodic budgeting processes.

Profile

The successful candidate must be commercially astute, be able to work in an environment that operates at pace under the backdrop of changing priorities dependant on customer behaviour.

You will have a track record of success in commercial roles within ideally a FMCG/manufacturing business and have the ability to see the whole picture without losing sight of detail.

For this Commercial Finance Manager opportunity, successful candidates must have:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA);

  • Significant experience in FMCG/manufacturing;

  • Strong business partnering skills - the ability to provide calculated, commercial and operational support as well as challenge;
