Job Description

What if your next finance role didn't sit in a finance department, but within an innovative, fast-paced division of one of the most influential charities headquartered in London?

This Senior Commercial Business Partner position offers the chance to play an influential role in the wider organisation, driving a commercial attitude. This role is a great chance for a finance professional to get away from routine reporting, and utilise strong analytical skills to drive forward the strategy of an organisation who help millions across the UK.

This role will analyse projects running across the business, engaging with teams from retail, outreach and fundraising amongst others, analysing impact and delivering commercial analysis to determine which projects are having the greatest impact, and are viable to roll out on a larger scale. Working with complex financial models, the Commercial Finance Business Partner will engage with senior stakeholders across the business and provide detailed, insightful financial analysis to assist decision making.

We are looking for analytical finance professionals, capable of thinking commercially and who are used to engaging with senior decision makers. Strong financial modelling skills are essential, but this must be combined with the ability to translate complex financial information into accessible analysis for non-finance stakeholders.

This role would suit someone who is used to using financial information to guide decision making, someone not afraid of delivering strategic recommendations and driving through commercial decision making with senior management. The Commercial Finance Business Partner will be a professional (ideally qualified) accountant, looking for a role away from routine reporting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build credibility and business partner at a senior level. Experience working in the not for profit sector is not required, this position would be a great step for someone looking for their first move into the sector.

If you are interested in this position, please get in touch for more detail as we are reviewing applications daily and this role may be filled before the closing date as interviews are held as soon as suitable candidates apply.
