A Top 20 firm of Chartered accountants who provide partner led accountancy services to a wide range of owner-managed, local, national and international businesses are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their modern Manchester City Centre office.
This firm have experienced a number of new business wins across all departments including corporate services, tax advisory and their cloud offering and this Audit Senior job opportunity is to support the pipeline of work in the audit team.
Your new role
As an Audit Senior you will join their corporate services team which comprises of around thirty accounting professionals. As a senior you will lead a variety of accounting and audit assignments working owner managed businesses, group structures and international businesses across a range of sector. Your work will be weighted equally across both audit and accounts assignments however you will also gain involvement in some corporate finance work, due diligence and international assignments.
With the department continuously growing there is scope to progress through to Audit Manager within the team with many proven examples of this already within the firm.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant (or finalist) who can demonstrate a good understanding and working knowledge of all parts of the audit process from planning through to completion. The firm are seeking a commercially astute accountant who can demonstrated strong communication skills and is comfortable operating in a client facing role and also undertaking some managerial duties within the corporate services team.
The firm will consider Audit Seniors from a Big 4 / Top 20 firm who are looking to broaden their experience and gain a better work life balance or candidates looking to develop their audit experience and move from a smaller independent to a larger firm.
