Job Description

Are you an ACA qualified Audit Manager or Audit Assistant Manager from a small or medium firm background looking to upgrade to a larger, mid tier practice based in a prime location in Central London (West End)? Or are you currently working in a large practice as an Audit Manager, and looking to move to a smaller firm for either a better work life balance or a clearer progression path to Partnership? Are you keen to work in a friendly environment with a good work life balance, with great support, training and progression opportunities to Director and then Partner level? Based in the audit and accounts department, your role will be up to 70% audit based, with the rest of your time spent on accounts, tax and general practice assignments. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients (C£400 - £500k); managing audits from planning to completion, managing small teams, reviewing work, liaising with clients, giving staff appraisals and reporting directly to partners. You will also carry out a number of interesting ad hoc advisory based projects as well as new business development. Your clients will be varied and include industries such as media, property, entertainment, technology, not for profit and retail.  There will also be genuine opportunities for you to progress to Director and then Partner level in the future due to the office needing some more managerial leadership.

To be considered for this new role you must be a qualified ACA with post qualification experience, currently working in a good quality practice firm either as an Audit Manager or Audit Assistant Manager (and showing strong signs you can quickly progress to Manager level). You must have experience managing your own portfolio of clients as well as liaising with both clients and partners. Experience of reviewing work is also required. This firm has also had great success with candidates who have lived outside of London and relocated to London and wanted to work in a good quality, friendly mid tier firm. Experience of a wide range of clients would be an advantage as would enthusiasm to progress in a short space of time.

This Top 60 West End based accountancy practice with a client base to rival a much larger firm, will offer you a challenging and varied role, interesting and high profile clients to work on and genuine work life balance. You will also have the opportunity to progress to a higher level in the future. This represents an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA Audit Manager with strong academics to work in a rapidly growing London based practice, develop your audit, accounts, advisory and managerial skills and receive top rate training and support in a friendly and profitable firm.
