Our client has plenty to offer an ambitious and technically strong Audit professional who is looking to work in a technically challenging role and be involved in supervising active studiers.

You will be working with large Groups, Owner Managed Businesses with clients based locally and also in London – albeit much of your time can be spent office based with some client visits. The portfolio covers a wide range of industries and some are of a significant annual turnover.
In addition to managing the audit process the role will also include some Accounts review work; managing junior members of staff; review of statutory accounts and close relationships internally including with Partners and clients.
Ideally you will be ACA Qualified and have a good appreciation of uptodate Audit regulations and be committed to working in a firm which will continue with its extensive growth strategy and that includes the Audit offering. Your application will be equally well received if you have trained in the Big 4, Top 10, Top 50 or if you are already locally based. Perhaps you work in a firm which is not currently delivering on the more technical work or achieving a real work/life balance.
The ability to communicate effectively is essential and also to move with change as the business grows. The Partners will consider candidates who currently work in a smaller independent firm who may only have a small amount of Audit experience and wish to develop this area or candidates coming from a larger firm who would like more autonomy and work in a "mixed" role.

The salary band of £45,000 - £55,000 has been set by Fletcher George as a guide. However Applicants who may “sit” at a slightly higher or more junior level should apply as the Client will be keen to discuss their skill set and career strategy. In turn there is some flexibility on role and salary to be discussed on an individual basis.
Other benefits as relevant to the level. In the interest of client confidentiality the exact location is withheld at the moment but is easily commutable from the A3 corridor, Epsom, Leatherhead, Surbiton, Weybridge and surrounding areas.
