Your new role
As the Internal Audit team grow and strengthen, our client is recruiting and experienced Audit professional to support their work of delivering independent assurance and opinion on a complex portfolio of Credit Risk, Model Risk and Data Analytics audits.You will perform assigned analytical testing to provide assurance over accuracy of model outputs including stability analysis and data quality. You will build productive relationships with key stakeholders, project/process management and model governance stakeholders.
The Audit Analyst will support the development of the audit plan for Model Risk and prioritises work based on risk including Group requirements and relevant UK and European regulatory requirements. This is a commercial and yet technical role that will supports delivery of insightful, accurate and well written audit issues on the risk management and control framework for relevant bank functions and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have experience of working in a risk/oversight audit function with exposure to programming tools (e.g. SAS, VBA etc). You will have a pro-active attitude and practical understanding of credit risk modelling methodologies and validation. Experience in financial services is preferred but not essential.
