An exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading Infrastructure Management company to join the organisation as the Asset CFO of a large-scale PPP project. A well-established business your new company provides exclusive asset management to a substantial UK portfolio of infrastructure PPP/PFI assets across various sectors including Social Infrastructure and Mobility.
Your new role
This role offers a varied and challenging opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the financial oversight of a traffic-based project. The incumbent will be responsible for all management and financial reporting whilst working closely with senior management, attending SPV, Board and stakeholder meetings. Shareholder and Asset Management reporting and senior lender reporting will be managed by this role. Working closely with the Project CEO the successful candidate will gain extensive experience with negotiation of project documentations and further complexities which arise in PPP/PFI project. In addition, it should be noted that the financing of the project is a bond, exposing the future CFO to credit rating agency and bond holder management.
What you'll need to succeed
This role requires a Qualified Accountant with experience of PPP and PFI projects. Other essential areas of experience significant to the success of this role include financial modelling, audit, tax, financial accounting, management reporting and contract analysis. Due to the nature of the projects and senior stakeholder's both internally and externally, excellent communication skills and relationship building skills are required e.g. lender relationships. Flexibility to travel between the project site in Hatfield and the Head Office in London is required.
