Are you an Accounts Senior / Accounts Assistant Manager looking to now specialise in management accounts / outsourcing? Are you also looking to work in a role where you will manage your own portfolio of clients, and get involved with managing staff and reviewing work? Are you looking for a role which will also offer study support if you have any remaining ACA exams? Are you looking to work for a firm which is easily accessible from all parts of London? Do you have at least 3 – 4 years experience from an accountancy practice background and looking to upgrade to a medium sized accountancy firm with over 50 staff, which has a client base to rival a much larger firm? Client sectors include property, international businesses, large retailers, technology start ups, and entertainment and media clients. You will work with many private clients as well as large corporate businesses. Based in the management accounts and outsourcing department, your role will be varied and will be split between managing a portfolio of clients, delegating work, staff management, preparing management accounts, reviewing bookkeeping assignments completed using Xero, Sage and Quickbooks, VAT returns, offering clients advice, cashflows, budgets, forecasts, and various reports, analysis and business management assignments for a wide range of very interesting clients. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a medium size and well established team that will provide you with many growth and development opportunities in the future, including fast progression to manager grade.
To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be either a qualified ACA, or a finalist with a few exams left to sit (in which case study support will be offered for your remaining exams). You will be operating as an Accounts Senior or Supervisor / Assistant Manager in a good quality practice firm and now be looking to specialise in management accounts / outsourcing. You must have at least 3 to 4 years experience working for a UK based practice firm, and have experience of the above duties, particularly management accounts, VAT returns, reviewing bookkeeping assignments and ideally managing your own portfolio of clients. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including Quickbooks, Sage and Xero, would be an advantage but training will be provided. You must be looking to work on a wide variety of good quality clients, take on responsibility at a rapid pace and be looking for promotion in the future.
This growing West End based accountancy firm has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. You will work in a friendly and growing outsourcing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of London and international clients. The management accounts and outsourcing department is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms. Overall this is a unique opportunity for an Accounts Senior or Assistant Manager with at least 3 years experience from a practice background to join a leading accountancy firm that will offer you top quality training and support to improve your overall business and accounting skills in a nurturing and friendly office environment.
