Are you an ACA qualified Statutory Accounts Manager / General Practice Manager / Business Services Manager or a Senior Manager, from a practice background looking to upgrade to a niche accountancy practice firm based in Central London that specialises in working with very high profile owner-managed businesses, multinationals and high net worth individuals with a focus on creative industries such as: Modelling, Fashion, Photography, Styling, Music, Film, Theatre, Design, Branding, Sport, social media and other industries such as Law, Restaurants and Property? Are you looking to work for a firm with over 20 staff that is growing at a tremendous rate and where there is future progression to senior manager grade and potentially partnership? Are you also looking to work in a general practice role, where you can utilise your accounts, tax, supervisory and advisory skills? If so, this growing independent accountancy practice is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive growth over the last few years. Your role will be varied, and will include managing a large portfolio of clients, managing accounts staff (around 10), reviewing statutory and management accounts for clients, corporation tax returns, Vat returns and supervising junior members of staff. Your role will be mainly supervisory / reviewing, but some assignments will require your expertise in a hands on capacity. You will be responsible for reviewing work, managing a team, setting budgets, managing workflow, attending partner meetings as well as ad hoc advisory projects. You will also be responsible for liaising with clients, building relationships and marking / new business development. A very strong emphasis is put on the advisory side of accountancy and you will be expected to provide value added advice to your clients on a regular basis. You will work directly with the partners and be the first point of contact for clients. Your client base will be varied and include an impressive array of growing and profitable SME and medium sized businesses, all from the creative sectors.

To be considered for this new role you must be an ACA fully qualified manager with at least 5 years management experience, including managing a team and a portfolio of clients. Your current role must include the above duties (including preparing statutory accounts, Vat returns, corporation tax returns, managing a team, supervising staff and managing a portfolio of clients). A strong interest in media, creative and entertainment style clients is essential. Experience of these sectors would be an advantage, but not essential. You will now be looking to upgrade to a firm where you can advise interesting and high growth entrepreneurial clients and have high levels of responsibility from day one. Experience in a range of software packages would be an advantage particularly Xero, Sage50 and CCH.
