Accounting Manager, Central London, Competitive salary

Your new role:

This Accounting Manager role will entail; ensuring that deliverables to clients in London and South East are up to an outstanding standard, with a high attention to detail. This will include financial statements and technical accounting questions. This client facing role will require you to provide outstanding service and build an everlasting rapport with every client. Travelling may be required. Responsibilities of the role entails:

  • Preparation and reviewing of accounts including, monthly and quarterly.
  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • Support and guidance to bookkeepers
  • Use of various accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage One/Live)
  • A point of contact for clients regarding financial matters
  • Consolidation of various information and completion of a variety of tasks for clients
  • Supporting team members with end of period procedures and reviewing various activities, such as VAT returns and journals
  • Support to other team members on their portfolio

What you'll need to succeed:

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have an accountancy qualification, including, ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA or equivalent with post qualification experience. It is advised that you will have sound experience and knowledge of bookkeeping, management accounts, consolidations, finance processes and UK GAAP and Companies Act. You will ideally be able to handle multiple tasks to an outstanding standard at one time with strong project/time management skills. Along with this, strong computer skills especially in excel, and experience with a variety of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage One/Live) would be a bonus. You will ideally also be required to give outstanding support to clients to understand their every need and be able to adapt and proactively take tasks on to the best of your ability.
