As they continue to grow, they are looking for a skilled Financial Controller to join the team and oversee the financial operations of the organisational group.
Your new role
As the Financial Controller, reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for managing all financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance.
You will oversee a finance team of 5 members and work closely with senior management to support the company's financial health and growth. Key responsibilities include preparing and presenting financial statements, managing cash flow, conducting financial analysis, coordinating audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for intercompany transactions, group tax compliance, and maintaining financial systems and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW etc qualification.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably in the healthcare or care services industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
