Your new company
This position is with a distinguished practice that operates multiple sites across the South West. You will be based in their Cardiff office, which offers excellent connectivity to the city centre. This role presents an exciting opportunity to enhance your technical expertise by working with Owner-Managed Businesses, Mid-Tier Firms, and Large Groups. The firm offers a unique role that engages with a diverse and dynamic client base. You will be part of a highly talented team, with the firm employing nearly 100 tax professionals and having received multiple awards.
Your new role
- Be ready for the cut and thrust of widely varied middle market advisory projects.
- Be serious about delivering practical VAT advice that solves pressing client problems.
- Understand that clients want clear, concise, jargon-free solutions
- Embrace an unparalleled range of clients, projects and diverse VAT advisory work.
- Collaborate creatively with the Head of Indirect Tax, remotely and in person .
What you'll need to succeed
- You are CTA qualified and/or technically exemplary, with proven communication skills.
- You have experience managing VAT compliance workstreams and be responsible for a portfolio of VAT compliance clients.
- Adept at working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to different business needs, and enjoying the variety of sectors and projects.
