Your new company
Hays are proud to be working in partnership with an established client based in the City Centre of Edinburgh who is in the market for an experienced Finance Professional to be employed on a 12-month FTC basis.
Your new role
In this role you will oversee the financial management of assigned projects, the key duties of the role will include:
- Prepare management accounts with variance analysis against budget
- Prepare annual budgets
- Prepare annual statutory accounts, including consolidated accounts for the group when required.
- Coordinate the annual audit with external auditors.
- Liaise with tax advisors on corporation tax compliance and VAT.
- Attend and present at board meetings
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will be a qualified professional who is eager to obtain a varied role that will provide both an interesting technical position but will also provide great exposure to multiple stakeholders.
You will also be in the position to start a fixed-term contract within the next month.
