A growing property sector SME in Manchester.
Your new role
A key Finance Manager role, reporting to the Financial Director and leading a team of 4 staff. You will be responsible for all aspects of day to day finance. This will include the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, variance analysis and VAT returns. You will lead a small finance team and drive process and systems improvements to ensure effective financial control and user-friendly management information. You will also support the FD with commercial analysis around revenues and margins and act as a Business Partner for operations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant with experience of a broad Finance Manager role in an SME. You will be comfortable leading a small team and driving efficiencies. IT literate, you will be used to working with systems like Sage or Xero and have a high level of Excel skills. You will be available to start in the next couple of weeks and happy to commit to at least 3 months.
