Your New Role
As the Financial Controller (16-month contract), you will be at the heart of our financial operations, leading a dedicated team of seven. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing financial reporting and controls
- Managing multiple cost centres
- Handling the treasury and accounts payable functions
- Leading group and management reporting
- Supervising fixed assets and UK statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS and VAT regulations
- Liaising with auditors
- Managing cash reporting and treasury functions using SAP
This role is a 16-month maternity cover contract, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact.
What You Will Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you should be a qualified accountant (ACCA , ACA, OR CA) with auditing experience or experience of being audited by a top 4 firm. You must possess strong technical accounting skills, with a solid background in statutory accounts, UK experience, VAT, and IFRS. Experience working in a large company environment will be highly beneficial. Additionally, experience of working on an ERP system, ideally SAP.
You will be immediately available or on short notice.
