Hays Finance are working with a key client in the Doncaster region who are looking to add a Finance Director to their team.
Your new role
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Director for a key client based in Doncaster. This role involves overseeing several business units with a combined turnover of approximately £55 million. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full financial performance, strategy, risk management, and ensuring sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the financial strategy and performance of multiple business units.
- Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of management accounts, working closely with two management accountants.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Manage financial risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and reports to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior management to drive business objectives and performance.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified finance professional (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience.
- Proven experience in line management and leading a finance function.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience of managing financial performance and driving growth.
