Your new company
This exciting sports retailer is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join the team! This is a newly created role made to provide support to the impressive CFO and the wider finance team. This role needs someone who can adapt and redesign processes as required, and who can own the transactional/Management accounting piece. It's a very exciting role and will provide significant growth potential!


Your new role
As this role is newly created, the role will be adaptable to what you are able to bring to the business. You'll be reporting into the CFO, responsibilities including:

  • Taking ownership of the transactional/management accounting side
  • Overseeing financial reporting, managing month-end processes and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial information to CFO
  • Supporting budgeting & forecasting
  • Financial analysis & commentary
  • Assisting the CFO with implementing new processes & controls
  • Providing support to the wider team, ad-hoc projects
  • Supporting the current system implementation
  • Assiting with audit process

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with experience within a financial accounting/manager position looking for your next step up. You ideally will have experience within the retail/consumer sector, or similar, and be able to be adaptable within a fast-paced environment.


What you'll get in return
A competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000.
