A fantastic regional practice with a friendly and approachable team is looking for a Senior Accountant to join them for a long team career! A practice that prides themselves on modern thinking. Providing a friendly and efficient professional service to small and medium-sized owner-managed businesses.
Your new role
You'll be working between our 2 offices and be delivering a quality accounts service for a range of client matters including personal tax returns, statutory accounts preparation, corporate tax returns, quarter end reviews etc. You will also be assisting junior member of staff with their progression and overseeing their work. The role is varied, and you will be interacting with the bookkeeping and payroll team members to ensure timely information transfer into summary accounts. Liaising with colleagues in our financial planning sister business to aid provision of cohesive wealth planning advice by that firm.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you must be ACA / ACCA qualified with at least 2 to 3 years' experience in practice. An enthusiastic accounts senior who must have excellent communication skills and be able to give great client service. You will have some knowledge of main accounting systems in the marketplace, like Sage, Xero, Quickbooks etc, although training will be given on these.
