Your new company
I am currently working with a client who is seeking a Senior Credit Controller with 5+ years of experience in the Insurance industry. They are a very credible and established underwriting agency.
Your new role
- Generate and distribute monthly statements for broker accounts.
- Allocate incoming funds and request necessary closings and slips from brokers.
- Proactively contact debtors via phone, email, and online meetings to secure payments.
- Identify overdue debts and escalate issues as needed.
- Foster strong working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders to support the collection process.
- Organise and lead regular meetings with different business units to address credit control challenges and escalations.
- Continuously assess and improve current processes, eliminating inefficiencies and driving ongoing improvements.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in recorded premiums, working with the technical team to correct any inaccuracies.
- Address unallocated cash issues and provide feedback to prevent mis-postings.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years experience in the Insurance industry, Credit Control background.
- Analytical problem-solving approach, proficiency in Excel, pivot tables, and B-lookups.
- Strong analytical skills with the knowledge to deal with large complex reconciliations on broker accounts.
- Confidence and excellent communication skills and liaising with external clients.
- Ability to multitask and meet SLAs.
