The Opportunity
Working closely with the Client Manager to support client relationships and oversee the delivery of tax and accounting services. You’ll oversee your own portfolio of clients and play a key role in providing financial insights and helping clients achieve their goals. This role will give you excellent exposure to property and construction clients, but prior sector experience, while advantageous, is not essential.

Your Role:
- Prepare statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and business plans for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies/LLP’s.
- Overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
- Nurturing client relationships and offering tax and accounting advice supported by the Client Manager
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Assist in implementing cloud-based software for clients like Xero and Dext and providing financial health checks for clients
- Assisting on adhoc projects
About You:
- ACA/ACCA newly qualified or in the final stages of qualification
- Solid accountancy practice experience, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping, statutory accounts, and management accounts.
- Good understanding of corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax and VAT
- Familiarity with cloud accounting systems such as Xero, Dext, and Fathom
- Intermediate Excel skills including, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, INDEX/MATCH formulae
- Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
