A well established SME manufacturing business based in Liverpool
This well-run and friendly business manufactures and supplies components and parts for a wide range of global manufacturers.
Renowned for their reliability and quality, they are investing in new capital equipment that will open new product ranges and significantly uplift turnover.
Your new role
As Financial Controller you will report to the Managing Director and will form part of the senior leadership team.
You will oversee a small finance team and ensure the production of reliable and timely monthly management accounts.
You will be responsible for all factory accounting, costing and reporting.
As a business partner to the MD and colleagues on the leadership team, you will offer strategic advice and financial analysis to support decision making.
You will manage cashflow reporting and ensure GAAP compliance.
You will prepare annual budgets, forecasts and associated reporting.
You will also be responsible for ppv, margin and customer profitability reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a qualified or QBE accountant with significant manufacturing sector accounting experience.
You should have leadership skills and have experience of advising senior management on business decisions.
You should have the appetite to work with a growing business and be a key part of the senior leadership team, ultimately working towards having a stake in the business.
What you'll get in return
A competitive salary of £60000 to £70000 is offered along with a long-term incentive plan that will lead to you owning a share of the business.
