Your new company
A rapidly growing Financial Services Group in Manchester.
Your new role
An interim Financial Controller role, reporting to the Financial Director and leading a small team of staff.
You will be responsible for all aspects of day to day finance, including the preparation of Management Accounts, KPIs and variance analysis. You will also support the FD with budgeting and forecasting and daily working capital management. You will play a key role in improving processes and controls and general risk management. You will also seek to drive efficiencies and reduce costs to improve the bottom line.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant with experience of a Finance Manager or FC role in an SME environment. You will enjoy delivering quality management information in a timely manner and have a strong focus on day to day controls. You will also be highly IT literate with strong Excel skills. Previous experience in the Financial Services sector would be an advantage but is not essential. You will be available to start in the next two weeks and happy to commit to an interim role for at least 3 months.
