Hays are recruiting an experienced Accounts Senior for an established, friendly firm in Sawston.

The role of a Senior is to prepare accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and review work for portfolio managers. In this role, you will work within a well-established team, providing high-quality accounting and financial services to our diverse range of clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a dynamic portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.
  • Preparation and submission of year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns with precision and efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with new and established clients.
  • Managing client expectations, carrying out meetings as required.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Utilising your expertise in accounting software such as Xero and Dext to streamline processes and enhance client experiences.
