Your new role
A key Finance Business Partner role, reporting to the Head of Finance. A genuine Business Partner role, working with senior stakeholders and budget owners across the business. You will focus on Central Costs, such as IT spend and Transformation Project costs. You will support the key stakeholders on their budgets and forecasted spend.
You will provide financial insight to the senior management team on the performance of key transformational projects. You will co-ordinate and own the group central costs budget and ongoing forecasts, providing insight and holding the business to account to achieve its financial targets. You will own the monthly review of cost base performance, making sure that optimisation initiatives are tracked, and delivery is understood. This will include developing insights to enable business teams to better manage and understand their spend and leading efforts to prioritise and align relevant projects with corporate strategic goals. You will strive to ensure the team has strong commercial insight and help drive consistency into all aspects of processes and reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant with previous experience of a Finance Business Partner role in a large and complex business. Highly commercial in outlook, you will have strong FP&A and partnering skills. With strong organisational skills and a flexible approach, you'll be comfortable working accurately at pace and with changing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bring financial information to life in a compelling way. The ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels. You'll have excellent analytical skills, be able to spot trends in data and apply broader business and market context, to make sense of complex data.
