This medium-sized organisation based in Liverpool has a fantastic variety of business streams and commercial activities.
As an accountant, you will find that your skills are widely challenged as you report on multiple business entities.

Your new role
You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Finance with the completion of monthly and annual accounts.
You will take the lead on the production of draft financial statements for a wide range of subsidiaries and the principal group company.
In addition, you will have responsibility for the preparation of the VAT and other tax returns as well as taking the lead with the external audit.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant who has strong technical accounting skills. This would particularly suit a first mover from practice.
You will be able to complete tasks to deadlines and manage multiple competing work streams.
You will have experience of producing statutory accounts, or of reviewing statutory accounts via audit.
You'll need to use your strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and external professionals.
